Morbid Thought?maybe ...
Floating around like a lifeless leaf, through seamless places unseen n unheard, no fear grips her morbid mind for her soul is dead long ago.
there's a baby in the house!!
Waaa waaa the whole nite
Hold the baby n sleep tite?
Somehow his muffled cries jus don’t sound rite…
Worried parents n their fears
Baby boo

my room my palace ....
Glazed copper urn
A paper lantern
A colored chatai
A comfortable couch
Some rust colored soft pillows
A few scented candles
A mini earthen float with water, artificial lilies n lotuses afloat…..
Your fav chaddar
A place for the tv n music n your knick-knacks
Now isn’t that a perfect haven??
Err
Tassled curtains in crimson
Or maybe sunset yellow
Uuuuummmm
Glass caricatures
A few paintings here n there
Soft fresh flowers (changed daily I hope …..:-) )

sighh...i love to hate mornings...
Mornings are bright
They bring new hope
A new day
A new way
A soft smile
Tensions wiped away
New rigour new start
Wake up n get to work
Smile n have fun

Atypical
I have been meaning to write this for a long time. Its sickening to read articles proclaiming Mumbai as the city of hope love and compassion , a city that bounces back from all sorts of calamities natural or the 7/11 types . But please for god’s sake can someone answer me my question
What is one to do if not wake up the next day after disaster strikes and get to work?
I once attended training on life and how to tackle stuff that happens along the way, the coach said, “do u know why we are working and doing things as we do every single day day in and day out? Well its cause we didn’t die last night?”
At first I thought, is he insane, has the training method gone extreme and are they trying to brainwash us into thinking that we are robots with feelings?
What? But then it hit me – the truth in it seeped in and struck like a bolt from the blue …
(Even as I type this in the middle of the afternoon when I am supposed to be hard at work …or is it hardly working … well I wonder what if boss was to read this …but I can’t help myself)
Imagine
We survived because we did
We went to work the next day because we did
That’s all
There’s nothing more to it
Please stop making news out of the “spirit of the mumbaikars”
Look I am a hard core mumbaitite too; I too travel by local trains
The fear is unmistakably there
Every time u keep luggage on the top storage I get a strange look of fear mixed with worry
In the second class it’s an unwritten rule followed by all that travel …..Don’t keep anything where u can create a suspicion.
If anybody really wants to salute the city , salute it for surviving in spite of its burgeoning population ,inspite of its increasing crime rate , inspite of its obvious presence as the most developed cosmopolitan city next in pace of life only to New York .
Sometimes I wonder are we what the media feeds our minds or are we capable of independent thought process ….???
Editorials or head lines we love spice and hype, I mean a live telecast 24/7 of a child stick in a pit, its news I agree but live telecast??? If u ask me I’d watch the saas bahu types compared to all this at least they show different episodes.
Neways , that was sarcastic caustic and unorthodox old me atypical to some and indifferent to “hype” for some , that’s me – Take it or leave it …..I couldn’t care less.
